What are the differences between plants and animals?

I learned that there are many similarities and differences between plants and animals. A big difference between them is that plants are generally planted in one place and can not move on their own. Animals, on the other hand, have the ability to move freely on their own. While animals depend on other plants and animals for food, plants contain cholophyl and can make their own food. A similarity of the two is that they are both alive and living. Plants and animals are alike and different in many ways.
